I love these days between spring and summer, when going outdoors is as easy as slipping on a pair of sandals and making sure you have your key, and people's gardens are full to bursting. I've had a walk. I'm sipping green tea. I've read a bit more in Takayuki Tatsumi's Full Metal Apache which he generously sent me a copy of a few months ago (the reading list his book is generating for me has grown). And I've committed spontaneous fiction; 200+ words of something that just showed up, unrelated to anything on which I'm currently working. I've created a new folder for it on my computer. I'll add to it as I figure out what it is.
And now, back to novel-in-progress T'aint and to reading the work of the people I'm mentoring. Good morning!
