The power jack on my laptop is fried. It'll take a few days to fix. I think I may have lost a scene's worth of rewrite on Taint. It wasn't much, and it's easy enough to remember what I did and do it again, but it takes the mind a bit of time to get over the 'Oh, crap' feeling of having lost creative work. In the meantime as I wait for my laptop to be fixed, I'm going to catch up on my mentorship work, and perhaps start making a quilt. I've accumulated a number of 8" x 8" test swatches of fabric from my Spoonflower store. I'm planning to incorporate them into a simple quilt. If that works, I'll post a pic. I'm not sure I have the patience for something as plain and all right angles as the quilt I have in mind, but we'll see.
